Sunday night, Drew started having a cough. Not just a regular cough, one where it sounds like he is choking on his spit. So on Monday morning, Josh and I took him into the doctor. Drew had a fever of 101.7 and he was wheezing. This sounds really bad but you couldn't hear the wheezing unless you had a stethoscope. The doctors told us to keep him on Tylenol until his fever subsides and they also loaned us a nebulizer to give him breathing treatments every 4-6 hours! Talk about scary, our little 12 weeker has to sit through a breathing treatment? Grrrr. The nurse told us that he could have picked up this "Baby Bronchitis" anywhere (grocery store, Wal-mart, etc). So we finish at the doctor's office and we take our poor, sick boy home. Let me tell you how much he hates that nebulizer...he screams the whole 15 minutes that we have to hold the mask to his face. There was one time (the only time I took a picture of him) where he just sat on his Daddy's lap and didn't scream. See pics below:

Tuesday, Drew decided that he didn't want to be the only sick one so he passed the virus on to his momma! Now I have the virus and sore throat that comes along with it. I also wanted to share it with Josh so he wouldn't feel left out so now he is starting to feel sick! Anyone want to come visit us right now? So, all-in-all it was a pretty bad week for the three of us: no sleep, horrendous breathing treatments, fevers, snot, etc...
Here's hoping that Easter is a healthy one!!
