I know this is about a month late, but here is how we watched fireworks this year.
For the second year in a row we went out on Pop Pop's boat into the St. Johns River to view the show. Auntie Keni held Drew on the way out, can you tell how much he loves his new life jacket?
We watched a show that was put on by a lodge just across the river from where the boat is docked. It was only a 15 min ride out and we were right next to the barge launching the fireworks.
Some of our friends drove to the show and got there 3-4 hours early in order to camp out in the 90 degree heat to get a good spot for the show...SUCKERS!!!
"Ohhhhh....That was pretty!"
After we got back to the dock Alissa kept Drew busy while the rest of us unloaded the boat. Thanks again everyone for a fun Fourth of July.
