Josh had to work on Halloween but got off in time to take Drew Trick or Treating, he missed out last year.
Drew went as a pirate (complete with peg leg) and Daddy got a lot of comments from the kids on his knife headband.
Although it's hard to see, Jen has a purple spider headband and purple hairspray (she didn't wear the spiderweb mask though).
With the extra pounds Drew's cast added we had to keep switching off on toting duties.
As the darkness began to fall we braved on past the ghouls and ghosts.
"Is that what happens to all of the pirates? Can I go back to being a monkey now?"

inflatable cat, Daddy had to assure him that his kitty, Dart, would not get this big.
As we made it down the home stretch Drew began to take inventory of his haul.
"This was fun, can we do it again tomorrow night?"
This is an app on Jen's phone that she uses for walking. It says we covered 2.78 miles, but the top half of the map shows our path all over the place so I'm not sure if it's right on, I do know that it was a long trek lugging around a toddler with a bum leg.
